Bollywood’s Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit is shocked and saddened by the unexpected death of Indian born painter MF Hussain, who had openly revered her beauty. She is his first muse of the and even acted in his film. Now, the actress shares fond memories of the painter, who painted a life-size picture of her and organized an exhibition in her name.
Madhuri expressed her grief on the demise of the painter over phone from Denver. “I will fall short of words to express myself on this legend. He shared a very beautiful bond with me. I will always miss him. May his soul rest in peace,” The Times of India quoted her as saying.
The actress said that the painter, who was exiled to Qatar following charges over some of his paintings, was a complete Indian at heart and missed colourful Indian festivals. She shared fond memories of him by saying, “Age never touched him. We were in touch always. He would travel a lot and would call me from different parts of the world to share smallest and big details about his life and profession. It was so sweet.
